If you’re passionate about your writing but not so passionate about grammar,
you’ve come to the right place.
I’m here to help, whether that means finishing your first or last draft, getting published, or just improving your writing.
Since writing is art and art is experienced subjectively, my approach to editing is based on a “weak vs. strong” mindset, rather than “right vs. wrong.” Most of what we write won’t ever be considered objectively right or wrong, so how can we know if it’s good or not? When I read through a client’s work for the first time, I have a whole list of “weak points” I look for: missing transitions, inconsistent description or character dialogue, missing motivations, unclear wording, and more. I then give you suggestions to help make these points strong. I also like to call attention to parts of your work that are already strong, because you deserve to know when you’re doing it “right.”
